So, I'm watching the Colbert Report and its starting to piss me off.
These 2 shows are pretty much do it for me since the election.
John Stewart has claimed that he just makes jokes and is not biased...but even after their deer leader has "been elected" (not really yet) they still make really lame jokes that aren't even funny about how the republicans suck.  They aren't even funny, they are just pandering to the stupid college kids who go to watch their show.

When they don't do that, they are really funny, but when they do, it just pisses me off.

edit:  they are too short to.  they do like 2 funny stories, then usually interview some boring guy who hates our government.  I remember the first time i heard BHO speak, he was on the Daily Show, i think it was about a year ago.  At first he sounded good, but within a week i saw through his lies.

I mean "dear leader" not deer.  oops

I dont see how he could keep a straight face talking to that green revolution guy (was watching the reply of last night's show) as the guy said the gov't should artificially inflate the price of "dirty" energy sources while making the healthier, more expensive ones cheaper...

The sad part is that most of these 20-somethings (my peers) get there news from these shows.  Sometimes people will try to argue a point with me based on info they aquired from Jon Stewart.  Pretty lame

Stewart is a NJ libtard and his show sucks.

Jon Stewart fucked up every gig he ever had before the Daily Show. He found his market and he'll suck liberal cock to keep it.

No way in hell he can do anything else.

I used to enjoy Colbert's show, but couldn't handle the completely biased views that he started expressing during the run up to the election. I have always found Stewart's show overtly biased.
I now avoid both of their shows entirely.

The Daily Show is 100% ball sucking liberal. I never watch it anymore.

Those two assholes pretty much cost us this election.  Where do you think most of the voters get thier info from.

In before some dense arfcommer postulates that Colbert is a hyper-conservative, not realizing of course that his show is an unsubtle and unmistakable negative satire of of conservativism.

Also, i nominate myself for the longest "in before the" comment evar

Jon Stewart was on Larry King just after the Primaries were over, and he seemed like he really admired John McCain. But there is no doubt, he is a democrat.

If you stop watching they go away. If you write their sponsors and complain, they have to look for new work like Rosie had to do.

Their shows dont make me even chuckle, they make me hit the mute button and rant at my idiot friends.

Yeah Stewart can't get Obama's cock out of his mouth long enough to say something funny. I quit watching it around early October.

Colbert is still gold though.

He even helped his deaf friend with phone sex

I used to watch both on and off.  Mostly Colbert, but I'd skip through TDS to the funny stuff.  And they are both funny at times.  But I finally just couldn't take it any more, around the time of the conventions I took both off my tivo.  They were just making my blood pressure go to dangerous levels.

First, John Stewert is a moron who fails at life

Dont expect him to say much against the savior. Now that the GOP is out of power expect guns, religion and conservative people, not elected officials, to be the new source for "comedy" material

He did some shitty standup, then some shitty TV, a shitty movie or two, then they gave him his own TV show that bombed and he went away for a while then Craig Kilborn left The Daily Show and Stewart got the spot.

He was just one fucking failure after another like his buddy Bill Maher. Two talentless fucks found their niche sucking liberal dick.

Before the election got hot and heavy, I watched TDS and Colbert religiously, but like many here it started getting to be too stressful for what the humor was worth.

Politics aside, I think Colbert is way more clever and generally funnier. Colbert definitely shows more biting partisan bias, but I'm not sure if the satirical nature of his approach encourages this or just allows it.

Stewart seems to attempt balance, but seems to pick on liberals for superficial reasons while attacking conservatives and Republicans on substantive grounds (correct or not), which is why I think he has such a potent influence–– he seems fair but damages opinions of the right more.

I'll never forget Stewart making fun of then-VP candidate, Joe Biden, for "challenging" Obama to try to take his Beretta shotguns away at some rally, probably in PA. He played the clip and then leaned into the camera and whispered, as if to let Joe in on a secret to help him out, something like "Hey, um, Joe; a Beretta is a handgun..." and adjusted his tie in mock sympathetic embarrassment. There were so many things wrong with that whole scene that clarifying it to a non-gunner would feel like trying to explain a Mobius strip.
And, once again, my eyelid started to twitch from frustration at the utter ignorance which allows the anti-gun movement to succeed.

I can't tolerate TDS anymore.  The election did it for me.  The bias nauseated me.  Its Stewart's show so he can do what he wishes.  But I won't watch it anymore.

Colbert...I still find funny.  However, I won't go out of my way to watch it.  I used to look forward to it.  Now..eehh....I'd rather floss my teeth.
