I  recently found a box full of old  Maxim Stuff and  FHM mags in   my  house .  Do you  think  there would be any interest in  a little  bit of home for the boys?

There are enough copies floating around here now to last for a decade, but some Shotgun News and outdoors magazines are always fought over.

Sports Illustrated also.

I have an Aimpoint CompC with a Larue mount that I can't sell for enough money to part with.  For these guys, I'll give it to them for free.  Who do I contact, how do I ship?

When I move in two weeks, I'll certainly look around.

How fucked up is it that we have to do this for troops in the field?

I certainly hope that TheTacticalSolution is getting swamped with stuff; EVERY Arfcommer has stuff sitting around that thr troops can put to good use.

G2's would be great. That is what a lot of them are using for their personal lights since they are relatively cheap, can take some abuse and isn't a lot of money down the drain when they get broken, lost, etc.

Other lights would be great too. In fact, I'm sure that anything that you guys could drum up would be very welcome. I wish I had a ton of extra cash laying around that I could spend on lights, mounts, sights and everything else they need but I don't. So I'm doing what I can and with the help of other Arfcom members I'm hoping to send them a lot more than what I can just afford myself.

Michael

I'd be willing to bet the guys in A-stan are needing alot of the headband type flashlights like we need here in Iraq, they are fairly cheap but the hands-free part about them is a godsend. If any of you have those floating around, I'm sure the guys over there would put them to good use like we do ours :)

Send bug spray, lots of bug spray. You can't have too much bug spray in the Kingdoms of Backwardistan.

one thing that we always need out here (we're way out towards pakistan) is batteries. the small firebase that we're based out of doesn't have a px like alot of the even medium sized fobs and support bases do. so the one thing that we're always in need of is batteries to use in our weapons and nods and just for general use purposes.

having been to oif and oef, I can say that it's alot harder to get small stuff like in oef. iraq is usually pretty well stocked comparitively.
