Those of y'all who dip, show me your tobacco of choice. Copenhagen Mint recently came to AL and I love it.

Take a new can of dip
Open it and put enough water in it to just cover the tobacco let it sit in the sun for a few days or under a lamp for a day or so... strain all the liquid out with cheese cloth get every last bit... now boil it off till you have about a teaspoon of thick liquid left. I have been led to believe that a drop or two can kill a human being.. not sure if it will cause death via nicotine poisoning but it would probably make you sick... I may or may not have had an uncle that used it to kill nuisance birds with a blow gun 40+ years ago... |

I met a World War II vet when I was younger and smoking. He lit up a lucky and grumbled that my filtered cigarette was like "sucking a titty through a sweater". I switched.

Used to be Copenhagen Long Cut, and I did try the mint, shortly before I quit. I'm almost to 3 months since my last dip. It had been a 20 year habit. Started with Red Man, then Days Work, Skoal Bandits, Rooster, Kodiak, then Cope. Used to get free logs at the rodeos back then, and by the time I hit Cope, I was getting it from the Nez Perce reservation, CHEAP.
