Is it legal to do at home? Wanna be on the safe side. Simple smooth bore mossberg barrel. Lying around want to give it good use.

Hmmm so you posted your question at 2:20pm, then according to your post above...  without waiting for any input... you have already cut it off, 9 minutes later?

I say again......

Waited for your reply in fact. Only took 30 second to do. Still have to file it etc. Had it already marked when I got the first reply that it was cool I went out back and turned on the saw and 10 second later I had a 19" barrel.

So kiss my green ass

I did the same thing.

1.  Used a hack saw to cut it down to 19",
2.  used a grinding wheel to smooth it down.
3.  lastly, sprayed some clearcoat spray paint over the cut portion of the muzzle for protection

WTF, is this Pinocchio's barrel? Starts at 18" then grows to 19"?

I cut it too, 18.75 to be safe. I call it 19 closer to 19 then 18

Once cut, don't you need to crown the barrel?

Duh, I thought once the AWB was over we could make them any length we wanted?

I was thinking about that. But not sure if its worth the time. Might just make it a 19" pipe.
Its just for around the house. As long as it shoots shot, I am fine.

Measured from the tip of the muzzle to the end of the butt stock.

It's 19 inches long.
