So I was told that buy my boss that the owner of our company was considering cutting office staff back to 4 days a week and reducing salary by 20%. A little back ground, I work for a large landscape company, as a P.A./Estimator. I currently drive 90 miles round trip to work 5 days a week. So after talking it over with my boss, I am going to counter with the following. Work from 5 days a week, but work M/W/F from home, and take a 10% pay cut. My boss fully supports this idea, so hopefully it will fly. More time to spend with the family, and not be trapped in my far for 2+ hours of my life. Wish me luck. |
