Don't know if you guys have seen this yet - did a search and nothing came back.
Wanted to share as I love puzzles like this - I am sure it is some publicity stunt. We??o______t it Also another guy on reddit took the common bits and pieces people across various sites were finding and here is the average of what he thinks portions say After following 4 different forums and trying to visualise everybody's opinions and all the clues figured out.
I think that most people read the signs wrong. I think the movie originated in Russia. Why? I think the "snuff" images are images of testing the toxin or victims of radiation I am sure this is a PR stunt and if the above were true CIA would have that stuff broke and understood ASAP. Not to mention why would anyone who wanted to pull something off give clues before. Regardless pretty awesome PR stunt |

Perhaps this is of some significance. A sequence of Morse code characters are seen at 00:03.840. User /u/calrathan decoded this sequence to read: REDLIPSLIFETENTH User /u/cipherface then determined this to be an anagram of KILLTHEPRESIDENT Three pairs of two-digit, single-alpha characters: 00:10.320: 07-G 00:11.840: 06-F 01:16.440: 23-W 20 pairs of two-digit characters at 00:28.240. A sequence of flashing lights at 00:32.920. A sequence of characters in Wingdings 3 font at 01:26.520. The characters are particularly those that represent digits 0-9. /u/eyespassim has begun work decoding these characters Pigpen cipher key at 01:23.880. User /u/gaffen has begun work decoding this ciphertext here. Algebraic notation of "E2-E3 D1-F3 F1-C4 F3xF7"at 01:37.000. User /u/usuda determined this to be a 'four-move checkmate in chess'. It sounds like a PR nightmare. Threatening to attack the president by listing the gps coordinates, signing the area code for Chicago (312) and RED LIPS LIKE TENTH. (Its not an “f”. Its a “k” which makes it an anagram for “KILLTHEPRESIDENT”.) Plus the image says “we are the antivirus” while the mask hints at a biological crisis or attack. At best its some weird hacker shit or a terrible decision by some PR company. At worst, its a terrorist threat or the work of some killer. They've also found that at least one of the gore pics embeded in the sound spectrogram is from a German movie called "Slasher". |

Been following this on other sites for the past week or so and there's definitely a lot of creepy and hidden messages in it. I thought it was some sort of viral advertising, but the blog that broke the story is obscure and some of the messages hidden within seem far too complex for an ad. It's been out for weeks and nobody still has a clue what the point is.

There are a couple of things I picked out. One is the Masonic "All Seeing Eye" with the 'G' in the middle.
312 is the year that Constantine say the Cross in the sky, and made banners for his troops with 'In Hoc Signo Vinces', which also is the motto used by the Knight's Templar (which many speculate are the origins of Freemasons when King Philip and Pope Clement drove the order underground) Those were just some quick observations.......I am going to look into the pigpen cipher @ 1:28 to see if I find any other masonic symbolism. That's aside from all the unicode & sound spectrum stuff |

Murder scenes from a 2007 movie, not worth the trouble to promote an old movie, copyright issues. Nobody has figured out the product being pushed, in fact the codebreaking appears to be stalled. It was sent to 1 tech blog, and 2 found on park benches. Might come out better sending it to tv stations and not require code breaking geeks, Mr and Ms public are too busy to bother with the code breaking skills |
