It just happens to be that this thread started off with two covers I really hate. I don't have a problem with covers as long as they're well executed.
Jimi Hendrix's cover of All Along the Watchtower and Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt come to mind. |

Most people post Hendrix "All Along The Watchtower" which is good but I much prefer his cover of "Like a Rolling Stone." Homage to Dylan. Most often posted on this site is Johnny Cash's cover of "Hurt." I like it but I still think Nine Inch Nail's is better for what it is. |
