My wife sent me this...Can't see it from work so I'm going on faith that this doesn't suck

If you hit it about 7am-noon Botswana time (they're GMT+2), you almost always see at least a bunch of elephants.
Geez....I read that title and was expecting to see the inside of a bar in Detroit. |
All I see right now is a bunch of noisy birds. |
I see some large birds, vultures maybe but it's kind of hard to tell because it's the video is black and white (or it might just look that way because it's only 0530 there)
Vultures...that might be a good sign...who are we having for breakfast? |
They are just drinking from what I see. There is an elephant there now, almost all the way under water but sticking his trunk up to breath. It's just switched to color a minute or two ago, the cam must of been on IR for nighttime or something or was just messed up
Now I am looking at what looks like an elephant underwater sticking his nose out of the water here and there.
ETA - RRTX beat me to it. |
oh sweet this is one of those video hunting things.
Wheres the button to shoot? |
WHEN DOES THE CROC COME OUT OF THE WATER AND BITE THE HEAD OFF THE DEER OFF. WE NEED TO PUT A CROC IN THERE SO WE CAN GET SOME GOOD TV.
More critters showing up now that the sun is coming up, looks like some gazelle and maybe an impala
As of the this post, there is lots of activity. Freaking amazing!
+1, looks like I'm not watching it either. |
Wow!! THere's a bunch of things there. It looks mostly like antelope and turkey looking things.
Damn these Ostrich are huge compared to the Gazelle or whatever they are
This is actually cool.
I just watched it for an hour. The perfect screensaver. |
There is a warthog there now.....watching all these animals is kind of making me hungry
Edit: got a baboon now too |
Bunch or antelopes or prong horns there now with some birds in the background. Its peak viewing time.
Happy hour! Cool! |
No fear. www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm |
use the real alternative codec
there is also a quicktime alternative www.free-codecs.com/download/Real_Alternative.htm DJ
Had to download a few codecs to get the stream, but it is pretty cool.
Edited to add; now we've got what appears to be an eagle, eating a fish or something... |
Some critter is fucking with the camera, I swear.
Something just went "klunk" as if a rock or something were thrown at the enclosure. They're showing a Bird chewing on some sort of clearly man made debris. |
I think it switched to a live feed from DU.
ETA: My bad, It's just some baboons. |
LOL! |
Me too. But then I realized that Africa has real watering holes, and they're worth watching because of all the cool animals that live in Africa, |
I don't want to see a bar in Detroit.
But this is kind of cool. |
Thanks, watching now |
I got stuck watching this for about a half hour this morning, which was around 4pm there. Saw a ton of elephants, guineas, a warthog...one elephant was in the water, completely submerged, and every minute or so you'd see a trunk stick straight up out of the water.
Very cool. I'm holding out for a baboon. |
WOAH! Did ya see that guy trying to figure out what a condom is for?
AB |
I just saw 2 antelopes humping and an elephant drop a massive load shit! The elephant then turned around and sniffed it with his trunk!
