TULSA, OK –– A 16-year-old boy is in the hospital after a shooting in North Tulsa Thursday night.
Officers responded to the shooting at about 10:00 p.m. in the 5900 block of North Frankfort Place.
When they arrived to the scene, they say the victim was on the ground with a gunshot wound to the chest. Witnesses told police he had been shot down the street near 59th Street North and Garrison.
The teenage boy was taken to Saint John's Medical Center in stable condition.
Police say two people with the victim said a green Mercedes with tinted windows pulled up and a male passenger, they identified as 44-year-old Shadeed Rasheed, yelled at them for robbing his store. The witnesses said Rasheed then shot the victim in the chest.
Police say the suspect owns the Millennium store at 6100 North Cincinnati. The store was broken into last Friday.
The suspect vehicle was located at Rasheed's home in the 4600 block of North Lewis. Upon questioning the suspect, Shadeed Rasheed was arrested and booked into jail for shooting with intent to kill.
Rasheed was released Friday morning on $75,000 bond

Crime has gotten way out of hand in Tulsa, but this guy is incredibly stupid to have shot the kid outside the store walking down the road.
