| If you are having sex using a condom that the woman provided and it breaks and she gets pregnant are you still at fault? |
|
I always provide my own condoms. I know where they've been since they left the store. I know they've been stored in good conditions (hot and cold temps can degrade the rubber). I know damn well that there are no holes poked in them either. I know things happen but at least I know my condoms have the best chance of keeping me out of trouble.
Also, it's never felt right to ask the girl for a condom. The idea of it just seems wrong to me.

Quoted: Quoted: I always wondered if one could successfully use the "Poison Ivy" defense. Saying she must have gotten out of the trash and inseminated herself. Flush it.... lol I've heard that given as serious advice before. better safe than sorry. I have a hard time thinking you could sell a jury on that fact. |

If you are having sex using a condom that the woman provided and it breaks and she gets pregnant are you still at fault? Why does it have to be someone's fault? Condom's break. Since you are both busy making "the beast with two backs" I'd say either both, or neither of you are to blame. It's for you to decide which, but you can't blame one and not the other (unless it was sabotage or the condom was beyond sell by date) |

I always wondered if one could successfully use the "Poison Ivy" defense. Saying she must have gotten out of the trash and inseminated herself. About 1 year ago a guy got hit with a paternity suit where a woman had oral sex ONLY with a man. She later admitted that she recycled the semen via vaginal insertion and intentionally impregnated herself. She also acknowledged that she did so without his knowledge or consent. A court decided that he had full paternal obligations despite her sneaky, self-serving (some might say psychotic) actions. |
