I will say it again, America is not ready for a women president. There is not a women out there that America as a whole would elect to POTUS.

Not Condi, not hitlary, no women, period.

I think she would be a better SoS than she is a NSA.

She has a cold war mentality that works well in the diplomatic arena, but not so well in her current position, given the threat environment.

Go Condi!

It will not get that far. The republican party is to coservitive and the dems are crazy, but there are still enough of them that lean towards the middle they wouldnt allow it.

NOT GONNA HAPPEN.

Thing is, most registered Democrats may not be ultra-liberal, but the base that actually votes in the primaries IS, so I think Hillary will get nominated.  Don't think Condi will, which is a shame...I'd vote for her.

Dick Morris said on Fox the other night that if Hillary gets the nod then the only way to defeat her is to run Condi, who would win in a walk against the beast.  Reality may force the hands of both parties.

I'd like to see Condi run for the Senate in Cali in 2006 (against Fienstein, I think, but Boxer is just as bad).  Let her actually get elected to something before she runs for President.

I'm pretty certain that the only people to ever become President as their first elected office were US Grant and Ike.  Condi's achievments hardly match that company.

there's only one person who can beat hilalry in 2004, and if i have to say his name (he hates window washers) then I've overestimated this board.  No one will touch hillary except him.  NY vs. NY (of course at the RNC primary it'll be NY vs NY too!)
I don't even think it s a question who the candidates will be, VP's are up for grabs, but I wouldn't put uit past Mccain to run with our Ex-DA.

You do realise that she couldnt function as SoS as well as any Male counterpart. Alot of the middle-eastern, eastern cultures will not deal with or speak to women. Not to mention that they are already pissed at us otherwise. Just something to think about.

BS.

You obviously haven't heard this story about her blocking Boris Yeltsin.

"As it turned out, Bush and Rice prevailed. In one famous incident, Rice physically blocked the door to the Oval Office to prevent Russian leader Boris Yeltsin from meeting with the president."

Don't underestimate her.

Not To Hijack guys but please don't underestimate the power of Hitlery who is satan's spawn.  She has been preparing herself to get back in the whitehouse since she left it.  By the time the next POTUS election comes out she will have portrayed herself just left of Sean Hannity and many will fall for it if we don't stay on the offensive with this evil princess.

My liberal sister just had a fit when she heard that Powell had resigned ("The one good apple in the bunch" she said). She went nuts when I said Condi might replace him.

Proof-positive that it would be a GOOD idea to do it.

I like Powell, but if he wasn't playing along, then goodbye, and thank you again, sir, for your service....

Well, then they've better adjusted when the time comes.

If there's no other worthy candidate emerging 4 yrs from now, then Condi is a good and logical choice. I like a POTUS who won't take sh!t from other countries.

Powell resigned?  Woohoo!

Some lib posted a photoshopped pic of the various Bush administration figures as superhero/supervillain characters.  I think Condi was supposed to be Catwoman.  Drool!  Mrrrreeow!  Condi in a catsuit -- daddy LIKES!

Anyway, aside from the sex appeal angle, she's a very intelligent and hardworking woman, and I could easily see her in leadership roles for many years.  President?  I dunno, she hasn't been elected to any office yet, and I think state governors are better suited.  Isn't she from California?  Maybe she could run for Gov there after Ahnold leaves, then go on from there to the White House.

Black, female, who cares.  She's got drive and intelligence.

Bullshit.  Hillary is DOA on arrival.  No Northern candidate has won the Presidency since Kennedy in 1960.

Sooner or later the Dems are going to realize this and nominate a moderate like Warner.
