We have a wireless modem. What is the name of the device that help expand the range of the modem? Right now our modem won't reach all the rooms in our house.

While yes a wireless range extender can work but Have you seen these OP? Powerline Adapters Depending on what you want to do with it.

If possible, it's better to place the modem in the center of the house rather than use a range extender.
