Percentage could be calculated on a per byte basis not per file basis.

What's really going to blow your mind is that the same guy who wrote that math probably wrote the privacy / security mechanisms for that entire app / network.

The calculation might be file size based which is more accurate than the number of files.   Of course, it should say that if it is the case.
