I just installed a GeForce FX 5200 PCI video card in my Vaio. The screen has a bluish-green tint to it. I got the drivers and everything installed, but the weird dark color is still there. What gives? |

Make sure the card is seated well in the AGP slot ! Make sure you have downloaded and installed the latest version of Direct X 9.0 from microsoft ! check out www.guru3d.com for updated drivers and a program that will allow you to totaly remove previous drivers from your system. Ive had systems that had remnents of old drivers left on them and it conflicted with the new driver even though device manager said there were no conflicts and that all was ok. If it still does it after all the above, and it didnt do it with your old card, I would take the new card back and either exchange it for another like it or a diff brand. GL--- viper out......... |
