I have a small home network of 3 windows OS machines. I can share small items like Pics and documents. I have one machine that I watch Hulu and do VOIP on I call this my slave machine. How can I open, close and run programs on my slave from one of my networked Laptops? Any suggestions?

RDP - It is already installed for you.

Start ––> Programs ––> Accessories ––> Remote Desktop Connection.

You may have to enable it on the system you wish to RDP to.  It is under System in the Control Panel.

Edited to fix spelling.
