My Nortons expired just recently and I was wondering what type of antivirus is best. I am running windows xp. |

I use AVG at home, but I did pay for a subscription. Good service, and a two year subscription for the same as a one year Norton subscription. The only thing I don't like is it tries to run a full scan every day if the machine is rebooted (basically tries to run every day upon the first boot/reboot of the day). No option to reschedule it, or make it go every X days. |

www.avast.com Been using it on all of my computers for several years now. Works just fine, and is free for home use. |
