Oh wise computer gurus of ARFCOM. I come once again seeking knowledge.

I need to reinstall XP Pro on a laptop, using a duly licensed copy of XP issued before SP2.

It seems like there was some way to load SP2 and the other applicable updates by loading the updates onto the install disk. Is there any way to do this without having to install XP SP1 and then go to the Windows website and spending a couple of days updating everything?

Thanks,

Download the SP2 file and transfer via jump drive. Also download the audio, video, USB, network and other "needed" drivers before you start and throw the on the jump drive.

nLite also lets you add the SP, as well as making the install unattended and adding in other programs you want installed as well..
