Employer wants us to "branch out" and get a new cert in something.
I honestly thought they were about to say "think outside the box". I'm looking at the CompTIA A+ and HIT certs. Employer will pay for it, no fucking clue why they want it but what the hell. Better options for general use IT certs? |

I took the microsoft windows 7 configuration exam yesterday; the course included alot of information on windows 7 that I did not know. This was the first class I felt had practical application. It goes into depth with creating & deploying custom images.
Also, I would look at security+ over A+ on the Comptia side, just my opinion |
