Anyone tried running radio traffic through the Howard Leight Impact Sport headset? I'm trying to do some wire management on my entry vest until I can get the PTT re-wired for new radio.
Right now I have radio going to lapel mic, lapel mic AUX port to a TCI ear piece with way too much slack in the wire, and then TCI comms headset with the PTT cable just hanging. Too much shit to fool with. It keeps getting caught on stuff. I was thinking of just running the aux cable from the lapel mic to Howard Leight headset. That way I can get just the right length aux cable. Does that headset allow for aux input and still amplify sounds? I'm open to opinions. What are you guys doing? |
