Anybody else having a problem accessing the Comcast.net home page?
I was directed to the "new" home page two days ago and now I can't access it.
When I type in "www.comcast.net" it starts looking, but the bottom page address lists "www6.comcast.net" and won't connect...
I am not very computer knowledgable and usually just like things to work...
Thanks!

In their infinite "wisdom", Comcast has "updated" their home page to some ugly assed new look. There is a button which has an option to go back to the old style, which *I* prefer. However, I doubt this has anything to do with your problem.

I bet your local Comcast server has issues, either with working or perhaps the weather interfering with the satellite transmissions? I'm obviously no computer geek but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once...................

Comcast internet problem...

Yup. That about sums it up.

Comcast internet = Problem.

I haven't tried comcast.net in a while , so I don't know about that yet , but it seems like every time they "upgrade" something , the whole thing gets more retarded.

I got one computer that loads the page fine.  The laptop over the wireless router won't.

I'm pretty sure that they are updating their home page

It's some beta page, which truly makes me wish I didn't have to deal with it. I hate the new setup. Unfortuntely, it's the price I have to pay for real high-speed internet.

Edit: The comcast page often does the same thing for me, but if I close it and open it again, it works fine.
