a friend of a friend has one  brand new in the box never fired and is asking $750
what should i know about these and be on the look out for problem wise?

it is the blued model with the black plastic grips

Early ones had stress crack issues with hot loads (after lots of rounds). IIRC anyway.



$750 NIB is a no-brainer.

series 70 or series 80?

I'm not too hip on when these were made, but if it's a series 70 it's a keeper.

if an 80 it's still a nice shooter.

Buy it ASAP.

You could turn around and sell it for more than that any day of the week.

I bought mine used seven years ago for $500, and that was a steal, $750 for a NIB, I'd be all over that in a heartbeat.
