I hadn't seen these before, but it looks like they have been around for a while:
http://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=3&f=17&t=447806 They are running $30.95 if you buy them from Cammenga. Bud's Gun shop is selling them for $18.96.... |

How have I not heard of these? Is there a reason why they're not more popular? Have some of our Tier 1 ARFoppers put these to the test yet, and possibly found them wanting? Because frankly...they look pretty good to me. Reliability issues. TOS |

Putting a LOADED mag on top of an EMPTY mag and then smashing them with a sledgehammer? Yeah, go figure that the empty mag deforms. yup. You can take a shit load of takes and just pick the ones that look the best for your video. Someone buy some and give them hell then let me know. |

Because frankly...they look pretty good to me. I have one, its not bad but it is what it is. If you dont know how to slam it home just right it throws all the rounds out of the top. Once you understand how they work its cake. Mine is reliable and I havent had any troubles the few times I used it. Neat range toy? Yep. But about as practical as a Chinese drum in real use.
