If you drink your coffee with sugar and/or milk you are a girl.
If you want something sweet have a cookie on the side or something. |
|
Quoted: Black coffee - no sugar, no cream, no masking the flavor whatsoever. I'm right there with you. Depends on the roast and the region a coffee bean is from. Some regions and roasts are more suited to black coffee while others make bean that is best mixed with other substances. I tend to only like black coffee if I can get a good dark roasted coffee from Sumatra or Kona.

I am dying here laughing!!!! |

|
Quoted: I like black coffee but I hate burning myself with steaming hot coffee more so cream and milk for me. They have this thing out now, in convenient sizes too, called "ice cubes"... My (well) insulated REI carabiner clip handle travel mug holds heat so well that I have to throw a cube or two in, just to make it non-scaldingly drinkable before the daily 30-mile-one-way commute is over. |
|
Quoted: You fuckers make me laugh... You talk about being MEN that drink your coffee BLACK out of insulated REI carabiner clip handle travel mugs. This place oozes hypocrisy! WTF do I care? ... I couldn't lose it! I'd clip it to the back of the troop seats on the aircraft, or onto the the molle webbing of my pack.... |
|
I like chemical coffee. Sweet and low and powdered milk crap. Instant coffee tastes best with it. Brings me back to a canteen cup over a heat tab, and how happy it made me to have. Of course, momma's coffee in the AM is pretty damn good too. I still need the pink pack of win, and a splash of milk. |
|
Yep. Straight from the pot. I was at my brother's and his wife BREWS IT with sugar. I gagged. When I was in the Army, I learned to brew it in my canteen cup over the exhaust manifold of generators or the exhaust of the 250,000 BTU heaters. Just settle the grounds with a shot of cool water, then decant into my cup. There is something about direct brewing that no other method can match. |

Quoted: Quoted: HAND OVER YOUR MAN CARD. Coffee is meant to be enjoyed many different ways. I tend to like all of them... except lattes.. I don't think you understand the concept of a man card. I see you've turned yours in. I fully expect you to now badmouth bacon and deny the desire for women. ![]() |

You are from Canada, you are already a girl. ![]() At least I'm not a "Wish I was a Texan" trailer trash Okie ![]() Big words coming from a Queer Canada resident. There may be a rivalry along the Red River but you might as well have picked on my brother . Only because you aren't from a manly province like Alberta. Or British Columbia. And aren't a Newfie. |

Quoted: Lame thread. Black coffee is bitter and disgusting. Coffee with milk/cream and sugar is delicious. Black coffee is NOT BITTER OR DISGUSTING. If you have a good Sumatra or Kona bean, you absolutely do not need sugar cream or anything else to make it good. Just have it roasted to your particular tastes and then grind and brew with 2 tablespoons of grinds for every 6oz of water. It'll be strong and anything but bitter. |

Percolating, rather than drip, makes for a better coffee too. And requires less coffee grounds to attain a comparable strength. |
