Help me educate a new shooter.

My mom is getting into guns and since she is in town for Memorial Day I took her to the range yesterday. Now I am trying to explain to her the difference between a clip and a magazine. She isn't quite following the verbal explanation, so I want to show her the difference. Unfortunately, I don't have any clips. Can someone post some pics of a Garand Clip and an SKS stripper clip for me?

Don't tell me, tell whoever made that. I stole it from here years ago.

A clip is used to load a magazine.

In the real world I don't get my panties in a bunch because someone refers to a mag as a clip.  I know what they're talking about.

A magazine is a box, like a powder magizine in an old fort

A clip is just like a hair clip or barret.

Close enough for Mom.
