I can't stand Christie. He's everything that's wrong with the GOP.

a friend of mine who isnt typically big into politics last night said he wouldnt mind a Rand/Christie ticket. I just sent him this link.
Oh look, Christie is using his emotions to justify policy. What party does that? That is right, democrats.
If Christie said that, then that's a ringing endorsement for Paul.
Christie reminds me of a union leader, or something. You know . . . the way he gets all upset and puffed up over shit.
When I first learned he was a Republican, I 'bout fell over! He's a fuckin' RINO to the max and he can KISS MY FREEDOM-LOVING, LIBERTARIAN-LEANING ASS!!!! |
Rand Paul is dangerous.
He helps demonstrate the lack of thought and principle among mainstream Republicans. Ted Cruz is even worse! |
Christie is dangerous to small restaurants that run a food buffet.
Christie and McCain can go have a bucket of KFC and 2 liter of diet coke with Bloomberg.
I came here to start a thread on that story and the pos land whale that is just another example of a big .gov proponent campaigning under the guise of being conservative.
Maybe he'll pick McStain as a running mate. Seems appropriate. Cheers! -JC |

Probably afraid Rand Paul would get stuck in his second stomach.
Ok....if it was possible to do so I now like Rand Paul even more.
Mr. Christie go cough yourself off you fat fuck. |
The only reason Christie has a R after his name is because the Democratic Party Ticket in New Jersey is full.
Not a big fan of Christie, but he has a point
Its one thing to have a theoretical esoteric conceptual debate on an issue Its another thing to function in the real world. I don't think a lot of the theoretical stuff works well when someone tries to apply it to reality. That's why you inevitably have politicians with lofty goals alter their positions and practices once they're in office Is his problem he should be focusing on with the R's though? I think not. He needs to be looking more at the D's But he wont come out and say that because he's been practically umbilically tied to Obama since Sandy wandered through and tore up his state |
A lot of Republicans are going to start getting their pant crotches tight over this type of rhetoric.
Christie will be deemed acceptable when compared to the Democrat and dissenters will be called Randroids by some people here.
Karl wants another establishment candidate, fall in line. |

Being a fat fuck is more dangerous to your well-being than any danger posed by reigning in the NSA.

Christie is the worst breed of Statist - one of those whom lies within our ranks.
Also, a wonderful snippet from this article - http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2013/07/25/christie-goes-after-libertarians-hard/ He dismissed some of the current privacy/national security debates as "esoteric.” |
If he thinks Rand Paul is dangerous...wonder what he thinks about Sarah Palin.
If the GOP puts up another RINO in 2016 (and you know they will), Rand is my #1 choice, barring some quintessential fuckup on his part.
He's right. Christie will compromise with voters. With today's demographics we need a Republican candidate who will come together and reach across the aisle.

View Quote Here's the problem... Been seeing it since last Century. Anyone wanting to roll back the FedGov to it's Art 1 Sec 8 duties is instantly denigrated as an "anarchist liberaltarian". Or some other equally meaningless pejorative. We have too much government involvement in our lives. Magnitudes more than the Founders intended or that is necessarily good for fundamental liberty to exist in a well ordered society. You don't need to be a full on Libertarian, minarchist, self-governing Anarchist to understand that or to agree with it. |
