Another weekend in. $1,042,560,000 international. For a global haul of $1,631,636,965. First R rated movie to exceed one billion outside of the United States. By far the biggest international hit of any R-rated movie in history. 83 million in South Korea alone, for the biggest sales outside of Europe. UK and France were the only two countries to top South Korea. Pretty dismal performance in China. Just about flat after opening weekend. Spiderman is doing gangbusters there, though. |

so who watched it? any good? worth my time? I'll admit ive never read Homer or any of that shit so i wont know whats accurate... blah blah. After that shit movie of The Revenant i stopped watching movies based off books. That was a shit show for anyone that read the AMAZING book. |

The use of 100% IMAX analog film is a noble gesture. Even if it was a TOTAL waste of time in extreme low light. But sure, why not, it's his vision of a timeless epic. Is it a classic? No. |

Seems this movie is designed to discourage, depress and distress Western Civilization and normal people. Left has this goal. Left controls entertainment and the funding for entertainment. Nations seeking to replace Western Civilization have lots of money, stolen from their populations, to spend on this kind of attack. Perhaps the revenue is real, perhaps it is as honest as the vote counting during the 2020 election cycle. |

It's what I'd call 'an experience' movie. Good 1 and done in theater, but wouldn't rewatch if it was on TV (unlike say, The Prestige by Nolan, which I could rewatch 100 times). |

He probably needs to make at least 2 billion to break even, and it's really losing momentum now. Only 90 million more since my last post. This may be a career ender for him. He'll probably be eating beans and rice at a homeless shelter. |

There were a couple of scenes the sound was so loud and intense I wished I had brought some ear pro! Lol |
