The eyedropper glasses were a part of a Japanese humorous "useless invention" contest. The idea was to come up with something that had no purpose, sort of an EXTREME Rube Goldberg concept (his at least were supposed to function in some way).
Unfortunately, someone wrote the inventor that she had found the funnel-glasses useful for putting in eyedrops, so that invention was actually a failure. |
