So heres the deal. I have a motorola razor. I ttok it on vacation with me and accidently left it in my pocket when I jumped in the lake. I dried it out enough and charged the battery that the phone will turn on, but I cant get the keypad to work so I can get to my stored numbers. The memory on the phone doesnt seem to be damaged since I still have the same wallpaper and it can acccept incoming calls, show the persons name and play their set ringtone. Does any one know how I can get these numbers off of the phone so I can get them onto another??

Thanks

What cell phone provider do you have?

If you have a GSM phone (AT&T, T-Mobile) you can remove the SIM card and put it in another GSM phone from your carrier.  Hopefully you selected to save your contacts to the SIM card.

If you have a CDMA phone (Verizon), or you did not save your contacts to your SIM card, your best bet is to take it to your cell service provider.  Someone at the store should be able to download your contacts into a new phone.

T-Mobile

The store that I went to wasnt an official T-mobile center. Its one of the stores that someone opens privately and T-mobile lets them sell their phones and what not. He wasnt to helpful when I asked him what he could do. He wasnt a little busy playing his computer game I think.

Ooops, my edit fu is too slow.

Okay, T-Mobile.  Remove the SIM card and put it in another T-Mobile phone.  The SIM card should have your contacts on it, provided you did not save them to the phone instead.
