Anyone know if there's a thread on case law that deals with LE related issues here on ARF?? I did a quick search, but couldn't find one. Just thought it might be a nice thing to have. Just a thought.

I think GD's collective heads would explode anytime they read it as they'd realize we (LEO's) are bound by laws and rules.... much to their dismay. -SS Well, the schism would occur on multiple levels: 1) That cops can read. 2) That we actually have to pay attention to case law as well as statutory law. 3) That there are different types of laws (case and statutory) 4) That cops can read 5) That we don't know all of the laws all the time for every jurisdiction and political subdivision that exists. 6) That cops can read (hey - it is a thread about GD after all).

In regards to the OP, what did you have in mind? What situation?
