STL 4
HOU 2 Go Cards!!! damn good game. shame there arent enough baseball fans here. |
Sorry, but I can't watch.
I didn't watch Games 1 and 2, the Cards won. I watched significant portions of Games 3, 4, and 5, 'Stros won. I didn't watch Game 6, the Cards won. As you can clearly see by the track history, I cannot watch this series. |
I am eagerly awaiting the inevitable collapse from the Redbirds that I have come to know all too well.
Hope they prove me wrong. SG |

Do you know what homosexuals and St. Louisan's both LOVE?
PUJOLS |
Baseball should end around Labor Day when college football starts. Pro sports are nothing but rich owners trying to outdo other rich owners by buying overpaid spoiled players who have no loyalty to their teams and vice versa. Fans get ripped off paying outrighteous prices to watch these guys play and make the rich owners more money.

Its a shame, I'm from Houston and I think the Astros are going to choke,
It seems like every pro ball club we have, they at least have that in common |
Hey, they've won their first post season series. They're building. You have to like a club that went out and got the talent to compete. If Andy P was healthy I think this series would have been over. All you need to do is impress your players with some really great fans so they'll like playing there and sign for less. It's worked in STL on a number of players. |
i'll keep you informed. |
I severly lost all faith in Houston Pro sports with the fall out of the Aeros and Oilers,
since then it has'nt been the same |
Thanks, what inning are they in? |
Maybe I should start betting on Houston Ball Clubs to choke, and make some money
The Aeros, Comet and Rockets didn't choke! But for some odd reason the football and baseball teams have taken us right up to the last minute before crapping out! |
Imagine being from Cleveland. Goooo Browns! |
CARDS WIN
GOING TO THE WORLD SERIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 |
yeah, but where are the Aeros and Oilers now, in 78 I went to the game in Pitt, PA, spent a slew
of dough, just to freeze my butt off, just to watch them choke, hey I found out, its alot cheaper to find out the next day in the news paper, that the out come was always the same. |
+1 AHAHAHAHAHAHA GO CARDS! |
The Aeros are gone now? |
BYE BYE!!!! |
yes they are. they put up a great fight. |
AEROS...Hockey... You paying attention here? |
AEROS! HOCKEY! |
areos\astros..
i knew what he was saying. again...........they lost. |
Pointtarget...I'm a Houston boy too and tend to see it your way. We DID have back to back NBA Championships...but what has the Houston Sports Establishment done for me lately except to raise my damn taxes to pay for all of the fancy new sport venues? They sure haven't built us any nice new shooting facilities have they?
CRAP! The 'Stros just lost. I am proud of 'em though...they came a heck of a lot further than they ever have before. At least the poor sport Yankees lost too. You going to the gun show this weekend? |
I lived in Texas for about a year and a half. I have a Aeros Hockey Stick sitting on top of my bookshelf now. BTW: I don't care about hockey. |
Shucks!
Nothing against the Cards, but I was hoping for a Texas vs, Massechusetts showdown. Oh, well.... GO CARDS! Have they EVER won a World Series? |
benbob, you are always good for the massive Cadinals logo. thanks! |
the cards? or the astros? |
Cardinals are number 2 in world series wins, behind the Yankees, with 9.
I was there in 82. |
Cards. Who cares about the Astros now? They lost! |
Are you serious? Wow. I never knew that. I certainly don't remember 1982. |
The Cardinals have made 15 trips to The World Series. They won in '26, '31, '34, '42, '44, '46, '64, '67, and '82. That gives them a .600 average for World Series Wins!
Go Cards! |
Darell Porter was the MVP, Bruce Sutter got the save in game seven against the Brewews (who were in the American League back then) on the team were Ozzie Smith, Willie McGee, Ken Oberkfell, and Keith Hernandez. It was great. |

Cards beat the Brewers in 82 :Cards 4- Milwaukee 3.
Cards lost the penent to the Minnisota twins in 87. twins 4 cards 3 |
The Cards would have won in 85, but Don Deckinger fucked us in game 6
