I am replacing the capacitors in my computer's LED monitor, because it fails to come back out of "power save/sleep mode" once it shuts off. The power light flashes continuously, which is supposed to indicate a power problem. If I unplug the computer video card, the monitor will turn on to the log and then "no cable detected" message. When I plug the cable in, after a few moments the monitor does finally turn on. It seems this is a common occurrence with LED monitors. Can I replace a 100µF 35v cap with a 100µF 50v cap that I have on hand? |
