If you're in the market for a great tacticool sling (aka strap) for your camera.  Check out the Tareinco Adaptable Camera Sling (http://www.tareinco.com/tareinco-adaptable-camera-sling-all-colors-and-camo/).  I have had this one for a few weeks now and I'm really dig'n it:

Not much detail at the website.  What do you like about it?

Looks like basically the same thing as an Op-Tec, only at twice the price.

I can't do straps around the neck. Drives me nuts.

I have a BlackRapid Sport 2 in my future. Over-the-shoulder with a strap to keep it off the neck is heaven to me:

That said, I have a custom rig that hangs my camera over my shoulder from my Camelbak pack. Works like a charm. Someday I'll post pics.

I ditched neck straps altogether.  Hand strap is where it's at, especially if you find your camera on a tripod 87% of the time.

I might be moving this way as I am spending more and more time with my camera on a tripod for tabletop, macro and landscapes.  Currently using the Op/Tech straps and slings, they get switched around depending on activity.

I bought one of the generic Black Rapid straps on ebay –– this one

I use it sometimes. The neck strap does get heavy at times, especially with a battery pack and some heavy glass, but I find myself using the neck strap more in crowds because I feel more secure with it right in front of me where I can see it. I tend to use the sling more for nature photography, or if I have the dog with me, etc. I think it's just a personal style thing, I bought the sling in the first place because of all the great reviews about them, so people definitely like them.

Ding Ding!!! I've been using the Rapid Strap for 3 years now and it is awesome. No sore neck after walking around with a 70-200 2.8 hanging off my camera.

I made one of these with an off-brand single-point sling, using paracord to attach to the camera.  I like the large adjustment range, and the fastex buckle is easy to detach for static use.
