I need to lose weight, around 50 pounds. I weigh in at 320 (you would never guess it if you seen me) because of my body build I don't think I could lose any more otherwise I would look like I was on my death bed.
My plan is to stay on a 2400 calorie diet and do exercise for 1 hour a day (more if schedule allows). As I get closer to my desired weight I will slowly work my way into building more muscle by careful changes in my diet and weight lifting. My question is is 2400 calories to much calories for me to lose weight? I don't know my current calorie intake but it has to be high as I eat my fair share of fast food, pop, and general junk food. Also My exercise plan is just to concentrate on the treadmill and bicycle machine for now. Am I going about this the wrong way? Most of my fat is in my stomach (beer belly) my set of A cup man tits and a little flab under my biceps. Their is not a lot of fat on my legs I think do to the walking I do and climbing in and out of machines ALOT during the day. What gets me is no matter how much shitty food I eat I always weigh in at the same weight. I may go up or down by 5 or 10 pounds.

Take the weight you want to weigh and multiply it by 12. Thats about the calorie intake you need to maintain that weight. Dont go below 1000 a day from what youre at now. Make sure youre putting out as much effort as you can when it comes to exercise. Just going through the motions wont do much of anything. Its real easy to coast on the treadmill and eliptical, make sure youre struggling to make it to the end. |

You weigh 140 pounds more than me, and 6" taller but don't look fat??? (and I ain't skinny). If what you're saying is true, then you need to be on TV, or studied or something. |
