Just wanting to hear some of your classes you all like best. On Hardcore, most maps, 99% of the time I've been using this as my go-to: Primary: M4 w/ red dot Secondary: M21 scoped Perk 1: Claymores Perk 2: Overkill Perk 3: Steady Aim The M4 on hardcore has plenty of beef and shoots quick in most situations with a fast reload and if the opportunity arises, I can swap to the M21 and fire quick rounds down range. I'm not really a good sniper, still trying to work on that, so this class gives me the option to practice when I can. I'll occasionally use this in lieu of the above, but not very often: Primary: G36C w/ red dot Secondary: 1911 silenced Perk 1: Bandolier Perk 2: Double Tap Perk 3: Steady Aim The G36 with double tap is pretty potent. In tighter maps (vacant and wet work): Primary: P90 w/ red dot Secondary: 1911 silenced Perk 1: Claymores Perk 2: Stopping Power Perk 2: Steady Aim Ghost: Primary: AK47 silenced Secondary: 1911 silenced Perk 1: Claymores Perk 2: UAV Jam Perk 3: Steady Aim AK47 shoots alright, good damage, but the sights on the AK are the winner for the silenced rifle. I do a lot better with the irons on the AK than the M4 so, AK it is. Lastly, I keep a semi-auto shotgun with stopping power in one of the classes but rarely use it for it's limited range. Every now and then I'll pull it out on Wet Work or Vacant, but the first class I listed is my main class for Hardcore. If I'm playing non-hardcore, I'm always always using a silenced weapon, generally the AK or MP3 and add stopping power with steady aim. |

Primary: G3 w/ red dot Secondary: 1911 silenced Perk 1: Claymores Perk 2: Stopping Power Perk 3: Extreme Conditioning The G3 is incredibly accurate and I can usually kill people in 1 shot with it and Stopping Power but I do a double tap just to make sure h |
+1 On the G3. It's accuracy makes it a great weapon for most maps. I've been using that the most lately, with the same percs. Lately though, I've been using the UAV Jammer perc with a stealthed weapon (M4 w. red dot). I've hid in a corner of Downpour stealthed with a silenced M4 and got a 10 kill streak without counting chopper + air strike. Most people will run by and never know what hit them. ![]() |

G3 w/ Red Dot M4 w/ Red Dot Claymores Overkill ExtremeConditioning M16w/ Red Dot 1911, supressed 3 Grenades UAV Jammer Dead Silence RPD Got this one from one of you guys--works great! 1911 Vertical Grip Double-Tap Bullet Penetration M4 w/ Red Dot 12 Gauge Auto 3 Grenades Overkill Extreme Conditioning |

The one I use most is: M16A4 w/ RDS and silenced HK 3 frags stopping power deep impact followed by: M40A3 w/ ACOG (most powerful snipe gun when equipped with ACOG) and silenced HK claymores stopping power iron lungs MP5 w/ silencer and silenced HK bandolier UAV jammer either steady aim or extreme conditioning M4 w/ RDS and silenced HK 3 frags stopping power steady aim RPD w/ grip and silenced HK grip takes place of perk 1 stopping power deep impact If I'm playing a real small map like wetwork I'll take my M4 class and change to sonic boom and martyrdom and start lobbing grenades. I get lots of cheap nade kills this way. Really pisses people off. |
Heyt, what to you mean about the M40 bein' the most powerful snipe gun when equipped with the ACOG? Does it do more damage than the Barret or Remmy? Or faster on target or somethin'? Just curious............I like the helpful hints I've found in these threads. |
In multiplayer, each sniper rifle inflicts 70 points of damage (without stopping power). For some reason, if you put the ACOG on the M40A3, it then inflicts 75 points of damage. This is the only sniper that is affected like this. Granted 5 points isn't really a big deal but I kinda like how the ACOG gives a bigger field a view, the extra damage is just a little bonus. It gets rather confusing cause then each snipe has damage multipliers for hitting various parts of the body. |

My overall favorite is: Primary - M16 w/silencer Secondary - Colt 1911 w/silencer Perk 1: C4 Perk 2: UAV Jammer Perk 3: Deep Impact (?) My other fav is: Primary - M4 w/silencer Secondary - Colt 1911 w/silencer Perk 1: Bandoleer Perk 2: UAV Jammer Perk3: Deep Impact I use those two primarily, unless I feel like noob tubing, then I use the M4 w/ noobtube, and the M14 w/acog in overkill. |

I have a class set up for most type of weapons except shotguns. I play strictly TD Hardcore Class 1: Up close and personal MP5 Silenced USP 45 Silenced Bandolier UAV Jammer Steady Aim Class 2: Stand off weapon M-16 w/ Acog USP 45 Silenced RPG UAV Jammer Deep Impact Class 3: DESTROY EVERYTHING!!! M-60 or RPD w/ Red Dot 1911 silenced Bandolier Sleight of Hand Deep Impact Class 4: Old school M14 W/ Acog M9 silenced C4 UAV Jammer Deep Impact Class 5: reach out and touch somebody! Barrett 50 1911 Silenced Bandolier UAV Jammer Deep Impact |

these are my go-to classes right now #1 M4 Silenced 1911 also Silenced Bomb Squad UAV jam deep impact flash bang #2 M4 w/ noob tube Silenced 1911 sonic boom deep impact flash bang #3 Silenced G3 pimped out Golden Deagle yo. RPG UAV jam Deep impact flash bang #4 SAW w/ ACOG Silenced 1911 Bandolier Double Tap Deep impact Smoke #5 my sniper class the Gun changes from the Dragunov to the Barrett .50 cal depending on how i feel that night. i like the accuracy of the Dragunov, but the knock down power of the Barrett Golden Deagle fool Claymores UAV jam Iron Lungs Smoke |
|
I try to stick to hardcore S&D mostly, and becasue of that, I tend to use the following setup: G3 w/ silencer any of the silenced pistols Claymores UAV Jammer Dead Silence In the tighter maps, I use the same setup as above except I use the AK47 intead. I like being invisible on the HUD as well as being silent for those knife kills. Any time I go play anything other that hardcore, I use: AK47 with iron sights Desert Eagle Frag X 3 Stopping Power Deep Impact |
|
M16A4 with red dot and digital camo. MP5-SD. Frag X3. Overkill. Deep Impact. Dragunov. AK74-U suppressed. Claymores. Overkill. Deep Impact. I use the M16A4 class primarily, unless it's a level cool enough to give me a ghillie suit. |

Just curious............I like the helpful hints I've found in these threads. When equipped with the ACOG, the base damage of the M40 goes to 75. Normal damage for all other snipers is 70 regardless. Softcore HP is 100, so if you add in the damage multipliers for hitting someone in the upper torso, neck or head and the M40 is a death ray from the waist up on non juggernauts. |

Sniper: M21 M14 supressed 2x Claymore Overkill Iron Lungs Noobing it up: AK47 w/GL M4 w/GL Overkill Last Stand or Martyrdom Supressive Fire: RPK Desert Eagle Bandolier Slight of Hand Extreme Conditioning because of the slower speed with the RPK out I've pretty much given up using overkill. I've lost too many CQB because the other person had juggernaut, and I couldn't put them down fast enough. I don't even think about anything else but stopping power. By the way, you guys have got to be kidding me...putting an ACOG on a rifle makes the bullet cause more damage on the 360 version? |

Yep, but only on the M40A3 rifle, and it only increases damage by 5 points. |

I'm playing on PS3, how do you get two long guns? I can only get a long gun as primary and a pistol as secondary. When you get to level 39 or so, you get the overkill perk. Don't forget that in battle you can throw down your pistol for another long gun. |

NOOB TUBE and Sonic BOOM always!!!! Just because I know it pisses people off when I blast there ass with it. Yeah, half the fun of grenade launchers and juggernaut is hearing people cry about it. Oh and forgot about Juggernaut!! I feed off that kind of stuff. I had some kid one night tell me he wanted to fight me because I kept NOOB TUBING him. Never tell your enemy what pisses you off or eats at you cause I they will just do it more. Duh! |

I play normalcore, not sprayandpraycore.
MP-5 w/ red dot 1911 RPG-7 Stopping Power Extreme Conditioning or MP-5 w/ suppressor 1911 RPG-7 UAV Jamming Extreme Conditioning Sometimes I go M-4 with red dot instead of MP-5. For extra fun, use the pump action shotgun with double tap. Yes, you rack the slide noticeably faster. For even more fun, use this script I whipped up to help my imprecise mouse in COD5: In the "[wherever]/Call of Duty 4/players/profiles/[yourprofile]/" directory, open the file "config_mp.cfg". It says "do not modify" at the top. Really, that's just a suggestion. Just back it up first, and then back up the new version when you've finished. Figure out what's bound to V. Start COD4 and change that bind, so that V is unbound. Come back to this file (make sure you open it again, as it will have changed). Add, in the appropriate alphabetical spot: bind V "vstr set_v_sensitive" Then, also in the appropriate alphabetical spot: seta set_v_insensitive "sensitivity 14; bind v vstr set_v_sensitive" seta set_v_sensitive "sensitivity 3; bind v vstr set_v_insensitive" You might want to tweak 14 to match your normal mouse sensitivity, which is defined elsewhere in the same file. Save, close, save a copy of this file elsewhere, then start COD4 and join a multiplayer game. Select a kit with a red dot rifle or submachinegun. When you spawn, zoom in on the red dot. It behaves as it normally does when you move the mouse and look around. Now, hit the V key. Voila! If it worked, your mouse just got much more precise. I set this up because I was having a bitch of a time with COD5 iron sights on bolt action rifles. They zoom in wonderfully, and have a very precise sight, but the mouse sensitivity is unchanged, so I didn't have any fine precision when in that stance. Now it's much easier. I bring up the irons and, for longer distances, I hit V to give me fine control. Fire, hit V and close the irons again. There's technically no reason I couldn't combine the sensitivity script with the irons altogether, but I always hit the same key for irons anyway. Quite a significant script in COD4 if you're shooting longer distances with, say, the M4. |

If you really want to wreck someone's life, go with: Grenades x3 Juggernaut Last Stand For your main weapon, pick a LMG. For your handgun, get the Desert Eagle. If they bring you down, hopefully you've taken a big enough piece out of them that you can finish the job with the Deagle, effectively stripping them of the kill. |

Been playing with the aksu with silencer.
Lots of fun on the ship board. Plus using the 3 frags with sonic boom. I just stand back and lob them over the center raised platform. I just got all my things done in bootcamp and was promoted to general. I'm having a hard time trying to be a sniper. I mostly like to run around and surprize people around corners and knife them before they have time to react. Just need the m60 head shots to finish up LMG. I don't know how many of you have spent the extra for the map pack but I think its worth it. Brodcast has become my favorite board. I have never played with the Noob tube so I guess I'll have to try that out. |
