It won't arrive until next week, and of course it will take forever to coordinate with the delivery guy, but it is on the way!

I just wish it was here for range time this weekend. It is going to take a while to remove all the cosmoline from the rifle, with my luck it will be snowing before I get done.

But at least I'll have a 1903A3 Springfield of my own!

Edited - doorbell rang, there was Fedex. If I'd thought about it, shipping yesterday via overnight would mean delivery today. Rifle is here, ammo still in transit.

Now I have to sit at work all day contemplating the treasure at home. It's going to be a busy, messy night tonight.

I love the smell of cosmoline in the morning, hehehehe

Did they send you an email when they got your order and when they shipped it?

I sent in my order at the beginning of the week and am excited to hear something from them.

i think they should give an 03 to every man who registers for the draft.  used 1 on drill team in rotc.  can't believe i don't own the real thing yet.
