Assuming I send CDNN a signed copy of my local dealer's FFL, will they accept payment in my name, or must payment come from my dealer?  I ask because if I take care of all the leg-work, I only pay $15 for the transfer as opposed to a percentage.  And for you FFL's out there who think I'm just being cheap, he is fine with this!   He would just as soon not put any time into his gun dealing, as he has another business which is his primary concern.

You can just call up CDNN and give them your credit card info if they have your dealer's FFL.  This also lets you avoid paying sales tax on what is likely an interstate transaction.

I've had no problems in the past doing this with CDNN. I paid for a BHP and had it shipped to my local FFL.

get the ok through your FFL dealer first, then see if you can prepay for the gun yourself.  I did that with my STG58A from DSA.  Dealer just charged a transfer fee
