At one forum devoted to the AR-15 (probably populated by 13 year olds in their trap door p.j.s on their mom's computer) my character was assassinated because I did not think a good M4 was the choice of universal rifle.
Link edited to clarify and link. And edited again to give you the hint, His initials are G.S. |

Best choice? the wording at the end of your post is a bit confusing.

Quoted: WUT? He went on an AR15 site and talked shit about it, got pounced and now he's pissed. |

13 pancakes, because fuckin footballs don't have feathers.
And as always, purple. |

I would wear trapdoor pj's if i had some that fit. Do they include those little booty things for your feet that you slide across linoleum floors with?

Gabe's opinions are just that, his opinions.
If you read the article he makes some good points but I agree with his conclusion(s). |

sounds like hes starting a new Glock vs 1911 thread. 308 vs 556.

We had people shooting through refrigerators, Buicks and all kind of stuff. The whole cover vs concealment offshoot was pretty good also. Then of course you have the fact that certain loaves of bread will stop 5.56. |

There are like 8 spots in this state where you can see 750 yards, and I can't conceive of a legitimate self defense or even insurgent reason for shooting someone at that range.
And 750 yards with a 2 moa 5.56 beats 750 yards with a 6 moa 7.62 any day of the week. And he didn't menion weaponlights or night sights or illuminated reticles or anything like that. |

More like 800 spots in the states of the Midwest. ![]() |

That's the thing. Even Suarez gets wrapped up in this idea of military requirements having any connection to civilian reality. Is he suggesting that a 750 yard rifle is appropriate for every member of an urban swat team?

Well, the M4 is not the best. Fucking m203 cutouts are practically worthless for civies, the bbl does not need to be as heavy, and the gas system/handguard could be longer.
A LW bbl middy with adj stock would probably be better. |

I dont know how these firearms instructors think insulting the membership of the biggest firearms website on the internet will be good for their business.
Idiots. |
|
I looked at the link. His "sniper instructor" is wearing knee pads. Knee pads........

Well, there is a certain segment who will throw money at them in an effort to show they are not an assclown who watches––well, you know. I'm guessing it's a fairly effective marketing strategy, as accountants and such usually aren't poor. ![]() |

Who? I have never heard of Gabe Saurez He's not a SpongeBob fan, he doesn't work on laser printers, he doesn't live in his mother's basement, no is he an assclown. He's another HSLD instructor. ![]() |

I respect most of Gabe's opinions, but they are just that, his opinions.
I have his AK video, and there is one part where he actually says that using the safety on the AK is to time consuming and difficult to use, so just don't use it. He also states that the only place you see safety use is in the US. This is nothing more than him being married to a certain type of firearm, (in his case the AK), and not being able to reconize any shortcomings it has, but rather glossing over them or pretending they do not exist altogether. He does however have a lot of good points about the AK, but some of his thoughts and methods are a bit odd to me and my training. Regards, Scott |

Ole' Gabe should have realized that none of us wear PJs... it slows you down when you need to fling poo.
I'll step out of the way now because I don't want any on me. |

Gene Simmons is now going at US?! I thought maybe it was G-Series. |

I don't even know who he is. But he got trounced on a web forum and then cries about it in an article?
Respect-o-meter isn't going up. |
