As a dealer on these forums I try and walk a fine line between polite, courteous professional dealer in arms and argumentative, opinionated, know it all gun snob with a attitutde.

I try and conduct business in a different manner than I do when telling people that "I'm right and they are just screwed in the head."

So since the bulk of my posts could easily be taken the wrong way, I just wanted to say THANKS.

With the exception of DU trolls and guys posting my dealer price on Group Buy threads (one day I really am gonna learn how to sell at "dealer price" and still make money) I really do enjoy the forums.

I may give a few of you some shit but still the smartest bunch on the net I've found so far.

But mostly, I really have enjoyed hooking you guys up. I'm not making as much money as I did previous, but there really is a sense of pride associated with the firearms trade. Nothing quite like getting somone their next valued firearm. I imagine the only thing that comes close (and is coincidentialy also not a lucrative trade) is dog breeding.

And to the new guys, if I bite your head off because you don't know everything yet, just tell me to knock it off and I will. [;)]

I will however continue my efforts to wean you guys off the SKSs and Mossys.

But seriously I really have enjoyed doing getting you guys the deals. It has honestly been a pleasure.

Thanks.

As a relatively new guy, I didn't take any of it personally.  I just figured it was your personality. [;)]

Can you sell to a non-FL resident?  I live in SC.  Just curious.

SteyrAUG,....
I look forward to your point of view on the collective purchases you offer from time to time.  It is nice to see a completely different point of view sometimes. From the sellers point of veiw not someone who does this as a hobby.

A poor analogy would be if we had a friend that was a pimp.  You as a pimp and the rest of us NON FFL as "johns or friends".  We see what you got and we lust after it but we don’t want to pay the going price cause we have in the past gotten some good deals on our own.  Sometimes for the price of a few drinks or a cheap dinner we can score.  Pimping is not easy is it. It means you have to take on risks and assume responsibilities and most of us would rather just visit your world than take the risk and live there

You have to be careful about who your friends are, cause pimps (FFL) just like cops like to hang around their own kind. It is safer that way. You cant throw out girls at cost often. You have expenses and peoples you need to look after. if you do it for free you would lose respect from the other pimps, they would take your girls and you would be out of work. Then all those who said they  didn’t need a pimp “ Just do it on your own ”  they screamed would be out of luck when the time came that they needed a little helping hand. They would miss you then. We don’t see that cause some are blinded by lust.

I see you helping a guy out and bringing some happiness in to his life and he gets what he wants and you can look yourself in the mirror because you gave him a good girl at a fair price.

For the record I have never had a pimp for a friend but I have had a FFL as good friend.  RIP

Some may not understand my analogy and that’s ok cause I did say it was a poor one. I think SA will [;D]

I have never been called a "Pimp" in such a nice, cordial manner as that ever in my life. [:D]

Do you give quotes on rifles? If so I am looking to buy a new hunting rifle for next years deer season. I am looking at the Winchester 70 in 300WM. If you are interested let me know what you can do.

Thanks

Last night had some guys over for poker. One of them hadn't seen a gun before.

I had my Serbu BFG sitting on the coffee table when they walked in.

That alone was worth the price!

Anyways, Thanks for the great deal, After I pay it off and finally get some bills paid off, I am interested in what else you can come up with.

Thank YOU-

Shawn

To tell you the truth I can't be very competetive on hunting rifles. Problem is places like Kmart sell them for what I buy them for (since they buy them in the 1000s for their entire chain they bet a better rate than I do). In addition when I add s/h from my distributor to me, and then from me to you I'm already higher than Kmart if I sold it "at" dealer price.

If you cannot find them locally, feel free to email me and I'll do my best by you.
