Only problems I see are that like a Chinese gun, you are funneling money into a country where private firearms ownership rare, in the process, supporting those regimes. The Balkans especially, don't need us encouraging them to produce more arms. Also, if the gun fails, you don't have much recourse.
That said, I like the HS2000. I didn't know you could modify Taurus mags, the 10rnd. limit is what convinced me to buy the EAA Witness PS instead. Same price. The polymer Witness is a Tanfoglio (Italy) and you can swap components like the AR to get different calibers and configurations on the same basic frame. By the way, Glock, Tanfoglio, Sig, Beretta, and this Croation company are all geographically located very close to one another. Maybe H&K is too? It's the "arms heartland" of Europe?
