Ok so ive heard that the "cheap" butane like ronsonal can clog lighters. So what butane is GTG for lighters?

I know this will shock you but Xikar is my brand.
I have tried three "tripple filtered" brands including Vector and still ran into issues.
Since I switched to Xikar, not one single issue....fill, fire, repeat.

And.....do not shake the can.
Just invert and fill.

I can't tell a single difference between any of the triple filtered butanes.  I've got a can of Vector on my shelf right now.

Tattoo Works.  Quintuple filtered.  I think it's the new Lava.  I use Vector too.

It's so good there's even counterfeits, make sure to get the one in the black cans.

This^^^
I use xikar, no problems except the fat white tip tries to pull the adjuster off my xikar element lighter.
I just have to push the adjuster back down when I pull the can loose.
Not a big hassle, but a hassle nonetheless. Looks like they could use a standard size to fit their own lighters.

Got a can of Xikar not too long ago & came with a standard tip, plus 5 different sized tips. I'm in Tip heaven!

I just had my Xikar rep in last week he says "its not the new tip but a bad run of element knobs" he gave me 3 new knobs to put on but the same thing happens so they know this is a problem.

Stands to reason, I have two elements that I am considering taking a drill to the knobs. Just kind of hard to hold the little booger.

Ha, I poke my head in every once in awhile. :D

For the post above, sadly, Lava is no more, it was remade into Tattoo Works by the new owner.
