Anyone else notice this?  Pros seem to be using a shorter version of their clubs.  In fact, this is not the first time I noticed this.  If I wanted to buy an off-the-rack driver, that sucker would have a 45"-46" shaft.  The pros seem to be going the other direction, maybe 43"-44" driver shafts.

Did not notice but I love St. Andrews. I like watching Watson. I wish I had his calmness and confidence. He is like ice.
Tom Watson is an amazing golfer at age 60.

BTW He is a blessed man...

Pros sometimes dont even carry a driver on some of the links course.  Accuracy and getting on the fairway with a 3 wood is better than hitting a driver long and into the gourse.  This is the only time of the year you get to say gourse except for reading Winnie the Pooh to kids.
