A one hit wonder who figured out a niche and is making it work.

He pretty much has the Big Band market to himself at the moment.  PMJ isn't a Big Band

Lorax, he played The Performing Arts Center (PAC) in Appleton for a Christmas show last November.

Great show!!!!  Great showman!!!  Ultra talented/entertaining.  Seems like a guy who kept his shit together over a long career and branched out with his orchestra.

Well worth it!!!!

They actually billed him with his Stray Cats, at Willie Nelsons 4th of July Picnic in 1983. Concert was at "AIR" Atlanta International Raceway and it was a sweltering day of 99 degrees, with 30,000 plus in attendance.

The other acts were Hank Williams Jr, Waylon Jennings and Jessie Colter, Merle Haggard, Linda Ronstadt, Davis Allen Coe, along with a few surprise guests..

Hilariously laughing as I write this post, because the Stray Cats were introduced just before Davis Allen Coe and the 80,000 plus in attendance didn't like them much at all. When I say didn't like much, its pretty much an understatement, because after the Stray Cats were introduced and began to play. The crowd began to boo and throw beer bottles and everything else they could grab, at the singers and onto the stage.

The Stray Cats hissed and gave us all the finger, then basically ran off stage, a scant 2 minutes after beginning their set, due to the objects being hurled.

The remainder of the concert was epic and one of the best times of my life.

The entire infield, track, stands and surrounding noise reduction berms, were literally filled with concert goers and great music played from just before noon and long into the late, late night.
