They were my favorite band before they dropped off the face of the earth and their lead singer went a little nuts. They have a new album coming out in June and they are coming to town in May. Am going to try to catch the show.

| Been hearing it on Octane all week. It's not bad, but for some reason I don't like it as much as their stuff from 10 years ago. Hopefully I like the rest of the album better, or it grows on me. Definitely has the same sound as their older stuff though, which is a good thing. |

Yup. They opened for Maroon 5 a few years ago. Even my wife said they sucked. Quoted:

Never been a fan. All their music sounds alike to me. Yup. They opened for Maroon 5 a few years ago. Even my wife said they sucked. Well, they're no Maroon 5.

it must have grown on me, because I bought the mp3 today with no prior intention to ![]() I'll be buying the album when it comes out. I like that they have their old sound and didn't try anything retarded. I think future albums might be progressive, but I have a feeling this album will sound a lot like their older stuff so they can gain traction again with their fanbase. |

You were willingly at a Maroon 5 concert...your opinion is about as relevant as that of "peaceful" RoP'ers...

Sacrifices must be made, I got the tix for my wife for a Mothers Day present. Besides, have you ever seen the HOT chicks that are at a Breaking Benjamin, Maroon 5 and Matchbox 20 concert? Like I said, sacrifices....... I don't dig their style of music, whiney love ballad with an interjection of Cookie Monster growling followed by more whining. Rinse, repeat. |

I'd willingly go see MB20 and M5 and I'm not ashamed to admit it, but I have no idea why BB would be playing with them. While they are not metal, they seem a little too intense for the target audience. |

Glad someone was just as excited as I was about it. I think it sounds great and good to see they stuck to their original sound. What lies beneath is prolly my favorite along with dear agony. ETA: Also Three Days Grace has a new album coming out next tuesday as well! More excited about the Three Days Grace album. Everything they put out is pretty good. Looking forward to the new Breaking Benjamin though. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I love me some Breaking Benjamin, and I'm excited they're back, but they're totally a studio band. Ben Burnley can't sing his way out of a paper bag. seen them 3 or 4 times, and they're always a huge disappointment live. I have had the opposite experience, 100%. Seen them 3x. They always put on a fantastic show and if they aren't the headliner, they blow the headliner out of the water. |
| Awesome! I've been waiting a long time for this. Hopefully (as it's been said) they'll live up to my dreams. Evanescensce went downhill. Flyleaf is still doing well. I've lost track of how many times I've played the BB stuff in the truck so it'll be good to have some new material. |

The TDG album is pretty meh with the new singer. Breaking Benjamin's album should blow it out of the water if the rest of it is as good as the new single. Quoted:

"I am Machine" and "Human Race" are decent songs, "Pain Killer" is pretty canned. 2 out of 3 isn't too shabby, I haven't heard the rest of the album yet. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |
