I went with the more traditional Independence Day weapons, a flintlock rifle & a cap & ball pistol. Shot alot of powder today, made alot of noise!!!

Palm springs to Indio
Went upto Edom hill and watched the fireworks from there. Great show as always |

If you go up into the hills a few miles west of my place you can see the fireworks shows of 4-5 cities, including San Francisco where they always have a great show. Who would think?

Went to Riverside Gun Club. Had a GREAT shoot.
Had a special event just for the 4th. We put a blue "UN Helmet" on the burm at 300 yards and took turns knocking it off with 7.62 and 5.56 ball. Took up a collection for postage and we plan to send it to the UN just in time for their big anti gun day next week. My team won the "counterattack" event.....Ahhhhh life is good in the great state of North Carolina! Rocketman |
