The only thing left of our boat was the keys!!! Thank GOD I put a floating key ring on them.
 We lost all of our equipment AKA weapons and the old bat AKA mother-n-law

I started it , really. I had proof, but I lost it in a boating accident. Seriously the whole "lost my gun while duck hunting" thing has been going on way longer then this board. I seem to remember my grandfather saying words to that effect in the early 80s |

I do know a Chicago cop who took a boat trip with a couple ATF agents and they dumped moths worth of seized firearms into Lake Michigan. They never let the same cops take the trip.
Most of the guns were junk but he did see one original Colt SAA and a race gun that had been seized in a domestic violence case. |
