I have a question...

When you post a topic, should you reply to every person who posted on your thread?

I usually wait until the first 10 or so have relplied, then answer in a general way. If something is really funny, or has a unique point of view, I reply.

I have noticed a member who replies to everything posted. 35 replies to the thread, and 16 are this person "quoting" others with and ...

Is this the accepted protocol, or have I been remiss in my duties as a thread originator?

All of my posts quickly vanish into the mist.

Depends if what they say is worthy of comment or a constructive response.

OK that to me is a little weird. I think by you posting this and if the person is singling you out, they read this and He/She will stop. We had a guy on here a few months back that was accusing and even LISTED a bunch of members here as some sort of "conspiracy"

Some people do it to be a post whore and want post numbers to go up. I see nothing wrong with interjecting humor in posts and we need that "outlet" to vent and post stupidity on occasion. that is fine. But to just serve a purpose of quoting and just adding smilies, that is just childish.

Do you want to share this member's name or are you just gonna notify them privately. I say that you should notify him/her privately and if it continues, get a mod involved.

Oh yeah.... forgot to add: LOL and
