story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=528&ncid=528&e=4&u=/ap/20040617/ap_on_hi_te/blogs_pulled_1 Guy who hosted 3000 blogs free decided it was too much and now the "freeloaders" are roasting him as scum. A heart-warming story of how "no good deed ever goes unpunished". |

Well it would have been nice if he had warned the people that whatchamacallits were getting turned off, but wouldn't you back that stuff up at home if it was stored on the computer of some guy for free? I think particularly with 'net related stuff people just think it should be free and give little thought to the work that someone puts into maintaining their playground. I wonder if any of those bloggers ever sent him a card, canned ham or even $ 5 for a beer for his work? I'd bet the ones bitching never did. |

It looks like he was just totally overwhelmed trying to run the sites although a bit of warning would have been nice. Ultimately though, you get what you pay for or run your own. You run it the only person you can bitch at is yourself. Home run as in run from home. :). |
