I am thinking about getting a pair of Blackhawk SOLAG (Special Ops Light Assault Gloves).  I know Blackhawk makes great stuff but I would like to know if anyone has first hand experience with these.  If not, what type of glove do you prefer?

For $40... I dunno.

They look a bit thick to me, I find the Nomex Flight gloves to be just fine.

Not thick at all. Very comfy(for me)...if you got the $40 to spend why not?

Operating a rifle with a pair on is no problem.

They don't make a size small.  So think like this. If you normally wear size small, get the medium.  If you normally wear size med, get the large.  Etc. . . . .

I have a pair of the Navigunners for water patrol, I like 'em....hey, they're tax deductable!!!

I own a pair of ths SOLAG's and they're the best gloves I've owned.  They fit remarkably well. Get'em if you got the money.

I agree fully. I have the full finger in medium, they stretched out and are very comfortable. Even wet they function very well. Cold weather they also keep your hands warmer then the nomex. My nomex are still sitting in
my butt pack basically unused. Thumbs up. Get em!

Just want to thank you guys for spending what little money I have. Ordered mine this morning after kicking the thought around for a month. This thread was the clicker.
