It worked good for Rustedaces video now i cant download shit, yellow smiley to nothing at all, i changed the port from 6881 to 55666. still dont work

I use bit comet,works ok as long as whatever I want to download has enough seeds.

which program do you use to download with?
i used azeurus(sp?) had some issues withit to after downloading the same video.
tried another program started working fine.
plus i just reformatted my computer,maybe was having issues with other programs i have.

Oh gosh Dave, you are a bit too late; I think the people who have it, probably thought that anybody that wants it, has already got it, and is not seeding this anymore.

I would try IM some of the people who are seeding this from this thread and see what they can do for you:

Maybe someone can tell me why mine doesnt work at all.

I have tried all the big name Torrent apps with the same results. It goes through all the motions then sits there and shows zero activity of any kind.

I took my laptop to work and a guy there signed on to his account at Filelist.org and without any settings change at all downloaded System of a Downs new one in about 12 minutes.

So I go home and find out that he is still logged in so I try his Filelist account on my home network and it works fine.

So why will his Filelist.org account download from my home network but Bittorent, Azureus and Bit Comet do nothing?

I have tried TONS of different port settings, I tried disabling Zone Alarm, I tried wireless, I tried hard wired to DSL box I have tried EVERYTHING I can think of with no joy.

WTF is up with this shit?

Been there, done that.

I use interchangeable hard drives and two different laptops and between them I have reinstalled Bittorrent 5+ times.

Dont know about AZ and Bitcomet

something is blocking the ports used for bittorrent. your router? your modem? your isp?

to get the full effect of bittorent you have to enable port forwarding. ignore me if you have already done this

You misunderstand I HAVE the rustedace video it downloaded fast with no problems now i cant download shit. I'm using Azureus

I am going in to set up my hardware firewall and get rid of Zone Alarm.

Is what you're trying to download the /only/ thing listed when the bittorrent client comes up? If not, kill whatever else is listed there so that what you're trying to download is the only thing there.

I've tried downloading different things music, movie, software, It either doesnt work at all or it's VERY slow
