what would happen if bird flu really started to break out. would we shut down our airports, and militarize our border? or would we nothing really change that much. id hope our government would take pretty good action. but what do you think ?

If Bird Flu managed to mutate into a version that is transmissable from human-to-human AND maintained its current lethality....well...we'd all just be screwed.
As far as the govt - I'm not expecting much.

If it become a pandemic, I'll be moving 100 miles from Houston to my 10 acres where I'll park my arse for 2 years or more till it's over.. fenced, gated, secluded, no neighbors within sight !
